Melbourne Money and Finance Conference

The Melbourne Money and Finance Conference series was established in the late 1980s and brings together 50 – 60 academics, bank and business economists, finance practitioners and public sector professionals, under Chatham House rules, to discuss specially prepared papers on emerging matters of significance in the finance sector and have anticipated key developments in the Australian and global financial services sector.

Papers presented at past conferences have been published as special conference volumes of journals such as Economic Papers and JASSA-The Finsia Journal of Applied Finance, in book form, or as individual publications in other academic journals.

The 2010 and past conferences have been sponsored by the ANZ, NAB, Commonwealth Bank, APRA and the Reserve Bank.
